Every cloud has a silver lining. Wear this as a constant reminder to look on the bright side of life. There is beauty in almost everything.
This bangle is made from unexploded bomb material, secretly dropped on Laos during the Vietnam War. On average, nine tonnes of cluster bombs were dropped every eight minutes for nine years. Of these 270 million cluster bombs that were dropped, approximately 80 million failed to detonate. Unable to farm on their own land for fear of these hidden killers, various charities have stepped in to help clear these unexploded bombs safely. These bombs are then melted down by locals and turned into bracelets, helping to create more fair-trade jobs.
MEDIUM SIZE (fits most adult wrists): Diameter of inner bangle 6.5cm
