"In the lead up to our children leaving Rafiki Mwema we do a lot of work to ensure that they are ready to integrate back into their community and families. Our outreach team also works with the guardians to make sure they understand the behaviours that the child may display when returning and to ensure the guardians and surrounds are safe.
We continue to do spot checks to make sure that the child remains safe after leaving Rafiki and that they have all they need to continue progressing after returning home.
We send the children home with their school uniform, underwear, pyjamas, school bag, shoes and what they need to start their new life. Your funds will assist us in this work."
