"Football is a universal language and it is certainly one that our children speak fluently. Whether it is yoga, running or just stretches with our children at the farm, or one of the many sports they love including basketball, volleyball and most importantly football, we always encourage our children to play sport of some kind although they don’t need much encouragement. They are football mad! We also have sports days for our children at our Rafiki Mtaani project. This is always well received and is one of the only times they put down their glue. Any funds raised will go towards the costs of footballs, travelling to sports days, running shoes etc. With the amount of children we have these costs can be quite high but we believe it’s an important part of the healing process".
